Our Client is seeking a highly motivated AWS Infrastructure Security Engineer who will work closely with our Security Control Engineering team in evaluating the security of our enterprise web application, assist in the implementation of proper security policies and controls within our AWS infrastructure, assist in the remediation of vulnerabilities, and prepare the application for FedRAMP evaluation and certification.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture, including AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of FedRAMP requirements, controls, and processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex security issues.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent work or military experience
• AWS Certified Security specialist is a plus
• Experience with Terraform or similar "infrastructure-as-code" tool is a plus
• Exeperienced understanding of security frameworks such as NIST

responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of our AWS infrastructure to determine compliance with FedRAMP and SOC2 requirements.
• Assist in implementing security policies and controls in our AWS infrastructure.
• Identify security gaps and vulnerabilities within our infrastructure and develop remediation plans to address them.
• Assist with the remediation of security audit findings from our 3rd party vendors.
• Collaborate with our engineering team to implement security controls and measures necessary to achieve compliance.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on FedRAMP and SOC2 requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Provide assistance in gathering evidence that necessary for preparing the FedRAMP documentation.
• Work with our engineering team to implement FIPS security controls.
