Job Summary:

Rands Trucking & Logistics is a family owned asset based carrier, with a logistics department that is craving massive growth! We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team to facilitate the growth at a rapid pace. The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with clients, and closing sales deals. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, transportation planning, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, knocking on doors, networking, and referrals

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions

- Conduct sales presentations to potential clients

- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients based on Rands Management direction

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of services and customer satisfaction

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitors to effectively position our services in the market

Qualifications:

- MUST have Minimum 2 years experience in transportation sales, targeting customers who move FTL, LTL, or Flatbed

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in logistics or transportation industry

- Strong knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems and software used in transportation operations & CRM

- Understanding of supply chain management principles and practices

- Knowledge of regulations related to transportation of goods is a plus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong negotiation and closing skills

- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets

- Ability to travel on sales trips when needed

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
