Randolph High School is Hiring a Security/ISS/Attendance Support Personnel (2024-2025) Near Randolph, MA
The Security/ISS/Attendance Support Personnel is a highly visible position responsible for performing routine security functions at the school to monitor student safety and attendance and faculty in the building.Maintain the safety of students and faculty by being knowledgeable and able to follow all Emergency policies and procedures at Randolph High SchoolAble to follow procedures and oral instructions.Meet with Dean of Students daily to give updates on the progress of school safety.Able to communicate with parents/guardians about safety issues at RHS.Meet with the Principal regularly for sorting of data dealing with behavioral issues as well as student attendance.Must be able to complete a security incident report and attendance reports when required.Attend extracurricular activities/athletic events, as needed.Must be able to participate in ongoing training provided by the schools such as CPR, or de-escalation programs in safety or crisis intervention.Monitors and implements strategies to improve daily student attendance.Coordinates with teachers to ensure attendance is taken accurately.Serves as a liaison between the school and families to increase student attendance rates. Provides targeted follow-up with parents/guardians to mitigate issues impacting attendance and behavior. Works with the school engagement team to increase student attendance. Understands and directs school personnel according to RHS Attendance Policy.Monitors student behavior in the In-School Suspension classroom, as needed.Reinforces appropriate behavior and ensures that students stay on task. Records information for students entering in-school suspension, such as grade level, behavior, and reason for assignment for suspension.Terms:Consistent with Randolph Education Association Support Professionals Unit collective bargaining agreementMonday-Friday during the student school year, 7 hours paid per daySalary consistent with Support professionals salary schedule based on degree level, experience, and certifications
