:** We are a small, 1 doctor and 1 hygienist practice seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant (EDDA preferred) to join our team. We pride ourselves on offering personalized care to our patients and want someone to help us continue that care. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality care to patients and ensure a smooth dental visit experience. **Duties:** - Prepare treatment rooms for patient treatments - Sterilize and disinfect instruments - Assist dentist chairside- Take and develop dental x-rays, including intraoral and extraoral imaging - Record patient medical history - Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations - Perform dental charting using Dentrix software - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices **Requirements:** - -- Experience with Intraoral scanning systems for dental restorations is a plus - Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental practice management software - Familiarity with dental imaging techniques ( we use Carestream and Dexis) - Ability to take accurate Impression and scans and assist in various dental procedures (must be able to make temporaries and pack cord or willing and able to learn) - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients during treatment presentations.
