Montessori Upper Elementary Teacher - Montessori Experience Required
Rancho Viejo Montessori School seeks an Upper Elementary Lead Teacher beginning the 2024-2025 academic school year. Under the general direction of the Head of School, the ideal candidate would lead an Upper Elementary classroom and oversee students 9 – 12 years of age. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, and must have Montessori Elementary Credentials. This candidate should have at least 3 years teaching experience at the Elementary level.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Safety and well-being of students in the classroom
• Delivering established Montessori scope and sequence
• Attendance at all required faculty and team meetings
• Full collaboration and participation within a divisional team and Interdisciplinary teachers
• Required to complete student record keeping, lesson planning, parent reports and parent conferences
• Participate and help lead Parent Ed evening events

Our student body is 120 with programs for children from 18 months through the 6th grade. We have been serving families in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, and neighboring communities in South Orange County since 1996.
