Position Overview

Continuous Quality Improvement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Quality and CI department. CQI coordinator will sustain 5S expectation and drive continuous improvement through production facilities.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality and CI departments with all assigned tasks
• Supports with internal and external audits
• Works with management to drive completion of projects within the given schedule
• Supports planning, coordinating, and monitoring of all CI activities
• Assist with time studies, floor and process layout and optimizing work flow
• Work with all departments to maximize business process optimization by eliminating waste
• Support efforts to minimize product and process variability by improving work instructions
• Plan and organize training activities related to quality
• Anticipates safety and quality problems in work areas and takes immediate action to correct
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015/TS 16949 and VDA standards.
• Knowledge in core quality tools ? APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC.
• Working knowledge of problem solving tools proficiency ? 8D, 5 Why, Fish Bone, etc.
• Ability to effectively interface and communicate with customers and auditors.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-3 years of continuous improvement or quality experience
• 1-3 years? experience in coordinator support using Microsoft Office Suites

• Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)

Work Environment

• Office and Warehouse Environment (non-controlled temperature)
• Able to lift 25 lbs
