Overview:
RAME Contracting is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team. As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction process by accurately bidding, estimating project costs and providing cost control measures. Your expertise in Heavy Highway Construction estimating, cost control, and project management will contribute to the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for construction and blasting projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates
- Utilize software such as ProEstimate Heavy Estimating Program, Timberline Accounting and SureTrak Scheduler to create estimates and track project costs
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project budgets and provide cost control measures
- Collaborate with the project team to develop value engineering options to optimize project costs

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 3-5 Years Proven experience in heavy highway construction estimating and cost control
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as ProEstimating Heavy Estimating Program and Timberline Accounting
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to accurately calculate quantities and costs
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and other technical documents
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
