Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional New College Grads to join our Engineering teams across various US locations such as San Jose (CA), Hillsboro (OR), Agoura Hills (CA), Chapel Hills (NC), and Atlanta (GA). Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As an Associate Member of Technical Staff (AMTS), the candidate will be reporting to the designated Engineering Manager and is a Full-Time position. The candidate will be joining a team to work on cutting edge memory and silicon IP technology shaping the future of data centers and high-performance systems.

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.

Responsibilities

• Designing and Implementing Software of Embedded Devices and Systems
• Electronics background with proficiency in digital design and HDL such as Verilog
• Strong Hands-on experience in programming with C/C /Verilog/Matlab
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, computer architecture is desired

Qualifications

• BS or higher degrees preferred (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with Software experience)
• Electronics background with proficiency in digital design and HDL such as Verilog
• Proven SW/FW architecture skills showing a deep understanding of embedded systems and micro-processors
• Familiar with bare metal programming techniques, interrupt handlers and concurrency. 
• Knowledge of how to write code for CPU and memory constrained environments is an asset
• Proficient in using GCC. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl) is an asset. 
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills. Experience using hardware debugging tools such as logic simulators, logic analyzers, JTAG, ICE, etc. is an asset. 
• Attention to detail, well organized, multi-tasking and ability to follow detailed documentation, strong willingness to learn new technologies and concepts
• Team player with good interpersonal skills - adaptable and flexible
• The position requires good written & verbal communication skills as well a strong commitment and ability to work in cross-functional and globally dispersed teams

Rambus offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity, matching 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, time-off program, and gym membership.

The US salary range for this full-time position is $73,200 to $136,200. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
