The department is a highly experienced and successful key player within the energy industry around the world, covering all aspects of the client’s value chain in offshore wind projects, energy transition projects as well as large scale industrial projects. This role requires a combination of skills including technical leadership, project management, and business development..Your key responsibilities will be:Serve as a technical lead electrical engineer in all project execution phases from early development to construction phase. Projects will include power systems support for the offshore wind industry, solar PV generation, energy storage and support for district energy projects.Interface with, and advise clients on technical approachLead the quality review process of work products developed by others, lead a team of electrical designers and electrical engineers, and coordinate the work of other discipline engineers into the final design deliverables.Develop and review technical engineering specifications for electrical equipmentUnderstand and implement the codes and standards as related to the power systems environment, including but not limited to IEEE, NFPA, NESC, BOEM, ACP, API, NERC and Utility requirementsPerform design and lead electrical studies and calculations for power systemsAnd it would be beneficial, not a requirement, if you have experience with the following:HVDC systems, including submarine and underground cablesInsight in protection philosophies and conceptsInsight in station control systemsInsight in SCADA/automation/OT securityExperience with offshore platform designYour new teamYou will be part of Energy division, Ramboll is at the forefront of addressing the green transition and offers a holistic approach to energy that supports the sector on the journey towards more sustainable solutions.
