Ramada is Hiring a Full Time Front Desk Agent (4pm-12am) Near Albert, MN

Ramada Albert Lea, MN is seeking an individual with an upbeat attitude for our front desk that likes to help guests and sell hotel rooms! Ideal candidate loves to interact with people and go above and beyond for guests. This truly takes a caring and hospitable mindset in this fast pace high demand environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work at a dual brand hotel and wants to grow with the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Check-in and check-out guests.
  • Obtain and verify payment information for hotel guests.
  • Answer incoming phone calls.
  • Able to upsell reservations
  • Able to handle guest complaints and assist with solutions.
  • Able to provide amazing customer service.
  • Many misc administration tasks.
  • Auditing in house guest reservations.
  • Assisting with taking incoming sales and group requests.
  • Assist with stocking of supplies.
  • Respond to guest requests and follow up in a timely fashion.
  • Provide excellent service with an upbeat positive attitude and friendly smile.
  • Report all maintenance deficiencies and guest requests in guest rooms.
  • Other jobs as assigned - light cleaning in lobby area, folding laundry.
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Be able to handle all types of guest interactions.
  • Have the ability to be upbeat and engage with every guest with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
  • Multi-task and be pro-active in taking on other tasks
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
  • Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
  • Frequently standing up and moving about the facility.
  • Will be required to work mornings, evening, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
