Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program for residents that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
• Plan and organize a variety of recreational, social, and cultural activities suitable for residents of different abilities and interests.
• Coordinate special events, outings, and holiday celebrations to enhance the overall experience for residents.
• Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and preferences, and tailor activities accordingly.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of activities, attendance, and resident participation.
• Provide support and guidance to activity assistants and volunteers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with seniors at a nursing home or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Creativity and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
