Job Overview:

Duties:
- Market and sell insurance policies to potential clients
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients
- Provide accurate and detailed information about insurance products and coverage options
- Assist clients in completing insurance applications and forms
- Maintain client records and update policy information as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations, including HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with underwriters to assess risk and determine appropriate coverage for clients
- Handle claims processing and assist clients in filing claims when necessary
- Conduct telemarketing activities to generate leads and expand client base
- Utilize retail sales techniques to cross-sell additional insurance products

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and explain complex insurance concepts
- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Proficient in sales administration, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals
- Knowledge of benefits administration, including health, life, auto, home, and other types of insurance policies
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance when handling sensitive client information
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in telemarketing or retail sales is a plus
- Fluency in multiple languages is an asset for serving diverse client populations
