Description

Position Summary:
Input construction loan data and documentation, order third party project inspections, survey, and required title insurance, obtain member and builder supporting documentation, finalize interim construction process, convert to permanent financing and validating boarding accuracy. Ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures as well as State and Federal regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

• 1. Work closely with internal and external members and team members to ensure a smooth construction transaction.
• 2. Obtain, input and upload construction contracts, draw schedules, specifications, construction plans and builder application and supporting documentation.
• 3. Work with originators, processors, funding team, accounting, and builders to clear any file discrepancies.
• 4. Obtain, prepare, and input draw requests received from builder/ homeowner.
• 5. Order inspections and update construction loan system with percentages of completion and amount of funds remaining.
• 6. Maintain all backup documentation in the loan origination system to support draws.
• 7. Obtain, prepare, and input final draw requests and trailing documents received from builder/ homeowner.
• 8. Prepare interim construction closeout of each construction loan.
• 9. Back up Residential Construction Specialist.
• 10. Back up reception area and maintain a clean lobby area and member traffic.
• 11. Assist members, address inquiries on mortgage questions.
• 12. Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate personnel.
• 13. Cross sell Credit Union services.
• 14. Follow current policies and procedures set by the Board of Directors.
• 15. Comply with financial industry rules and regulations as required by law.
• 16. All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

• 2 years Data entry and customer service in a fast paced environment
• 1 year Residential construction experience Preferred

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
