RAKA Handling is looking for a Parts Counter Sales Representative responsible for effectively and efficiently assisting customers (internal and external) by facilitating parts sales based on the customer’s needs, researching and ordering parts, providing superior service to ensure customer satisfaction, and effectively communicating with customers to maximize parts sales and customer satisfaction. Provides exceptional customer service by assisting customers via phone or email by correctly locating needed parts using various parts database systems in a timely and efficient manner to help minimize customer downtime. Offers technical advice, as appropriate, to meet customer needs, and provide routine updates to parts availability delays and backorders.
Locates and purchases parts on behalf of customers and RAKA Handling service personnel. Reviews, codes and submits outside vendor invoices to Accounting.
Investigates and manages customer complaints in a professional and diplomatic manner ensuring timely resolution according to company guidelines. Obtains adequate information and properly documents all information received.
Processes (pulls, tags and ships) returned parts to vendor including inspecting remanufactured and warranty parts.
