Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer (Javascript, Node.js, Typescript, React, MySQL, Terraform, AWS certified)

Location: Hybrid - Onsite at our client's facility in Urbandale, IA. Hybrid opportunity for local candidates.

Salary: USD $52.00 – $58.00 / hr

We're in search of a skilled Sr. Software Engineer to contribute to our mission-critical application development center. Position Overview: As a Sr. Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in building web-client and server-side applications, leveraging your expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, and more. This is a new position that offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth and innovation.

Required Skills:

• 3 or more years of experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript for web-client and/or server-side applications (Node.js).
• 3 or more years of experience working with a UI library such as React or Angular.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Exposure to RDBMS such as MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server, etc.
• Strong experience in team-based software development using Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD) and/or Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD).
• Experience with Continuous Integration and build pipeline deployment automation.
• Background in large, complex systems design and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have):

• Multiple programming languages or frameworks (TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Redux, etc.).
• Strong leadership skills and proactive issue-solving initiative.
• Advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Experience with AWS IAM & Networking.
