Location: Mount Juliet, TN
Responsibilities of New Product Development Engineer:
- Generate comprehensive documentation for new designs, encompassing 3D models, drawings, bills of material, and technical data for brochures and manuals.
- Translate customer requirements into viable product designs.
- Engage in various aspects of new product development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing to integrate new designs seamlessly into production.
- Assess and enhance existing processes and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Provide technical support to sales and technical service teams regarding new product inquiries.
- Proficiency in utilizing hand and power tools, as well as instruments for lab tests.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Previous experience as a New Product Development Engineer within the Manufacturing Industry.
- Proficiency in creating parts and assemblies.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software, specifically Solid Edge.
- Experience with coding languages, particularly VBA; proficiency in Python and Java is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with ERP software.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Previous experience in New Product Development (2-3 years).
- Proficiency in coding languages (VBA, Python, Java), with a preference for VBA.
- Experience with an ERP system.
- Demonstrated experience in creating parts and assemblies using 3D CAD.
