Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed interventions under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Perform physical examinations and record patient information accurately
- Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Assist with catheterization and gastric lavage procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Assist with discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving the facility
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of [New York]
- Proven experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and protocols
