Elementary Teacher: 2024-2025 Academic YearFTE 1.0Hudson Park Elementary is seeking a highly qualified teacher for an intermediate grade 4-6 at our school.
RoleTeachers hold primary responsibility for the instruction of content and, most importantly, the success of Hudson Park students. We use a co-teaching model and partner experienced staff with teachers at the beginning of their career.
Specific Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities
- Implement curricula to meet academic standards;
- Ensure student mastery of school academic and behavioral standards;
- Design and implement assessments that measure progress toward academic standards;
- Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices;
- Participate in curriculum alignment, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions;
- Provide high and consistent academic and behavioral expectations;
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues; and
- Participate in staff orientation and training prior to the school year.

- A drive to set and achieve ambitious, challenging, and tangible goals;
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a capacity to remain calm and focused when faced with unexpected challenges;

- Drive to meet the needs of the whole child and improve students’ minds and lives;
- Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred;
- A valid Oregon Teaching License for the appropriate grade level;
- An ability to meet all state and federal guidelines in order to be fully licensed and "Highly Qualified.”
