Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and enthusiastic Aide to join our team. As a Floater Aide, you will have the opportunity to work with various age groups from 3 month old's to 5 year old's. You will be assisting the teaching teams in the classroom and providing addition support and help. Not only is this a great opportunity to shadow and learn from experience teachers and aides already in the field but build a knowledge of children at different areas of development.

Duties:
-Position will be scheduled Monday - Friday from 8:00-4:30 with an hour break.
- Assist the teaching team in implementing age-appropriate curriculum through educational programs and activities
- Assist with classroom organization and maintenance of materials
- Supervise children during activities and ensure their safety at all times
- Support children' social-emotional development through positive interactions and guidance
- Provide assistance with daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and toileting

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students in a classroom or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred

Rainbow School is a non-profit organization that has 6 locations throughout the island of Oahu. The Honolulu location recently received their reaccreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The classrooms are air conditioned with spacious outdoor playground. Each class has low student to teacher ratio and low class sizes. Conveniently located in the downtown area.
