Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our restoration services team. As the Lead Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing a variety of water and fire damage mitigation duties. Your expertise in mitigation using meters, sensors, dehumidifiers, air movers, and air scrubbers will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the business.
Duties:
- Perform complete scope of work for each job, to include: arriving on-site with equipment
- Perform a hazard assessment at each job site.
- Detect and measure moisture throughout the affected areas.
- Dispense the appropriate number of air-movers, dehumidifiers, and negative pressure systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate with upper management any potential issues or hazards that may leave the business liable.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians
Experience:
- Proven experience in water/fire damage mitigation as a Lead Technician or similar role in a residential and commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture, relative humidity, dew points, and vapor pressure.
- Proficient in reading various moisture sensors and meters.
