Rainbow Playschool is a Licensed Child Care Center in Woodstock, VT looking for friendly and warm Infant Caregivers with a passion for child development and the outdoors to join our Team. Currently we are looking for support staff interested in a part-time afternoon position in our infant room. Hours are negotiable but could look something like M-F 1pm-5pm or M-F 3:30-5:30pm, or even 11:00am-4:00pm.

The ideal candidate is someone who is nurturing, professional, and experienced in similar roles. Flexibility is key, as well as attentive, high-quality care for infants aged 2 months to 18 months. Infant Room Caregivers will be responsible for full care of the infants, including but not limited to maintaining hygiene, bottle and meal preparation and feeding, diapering, sanitizing bottles, infant laundry, play time and activity time, organization of materials and baby’s items, and communicating needs of child and daily routine to parents.

No previous child care experience necessary, but candidate will be required to complete Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework within the first year of employment. We will provide on-the-job training that is needed to be successful in the classroom. We ask you to bring your positive personality!
