Job Summary:

The Program Engineer - Senior will independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. The Program Engineer - Senior will assist a Program Manager on a major project or several projects of moderate scope with complex features.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist a Program Manager in managing a program
• Perform administrative duties related to managing a program
• Maintain and analyze program budgets and schedules
• Track and drive program deliverables
• Assist in anticipating client needs through interpretation of federal, state and regional market sector information
• Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Proficient with electronic communications including e-mail and text as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Advanced oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in project budget and schedule tools

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree or equivalent
• 8 years prior experience
• Engaged in life-long learning to maintain knowledge of contemporary issues
• Experience assisting a Program Manager

Additional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.:

• Professional Engineer (PE), equivalent, or authorization of CLPO

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work with staff necessary to complete assignments
• Assist Program Manager in overseeing scopes, budgets, and schedules for program
• Prepare proposals to provide professional services

Additional Information:

• Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 / year.
