Rail Side Cafe in San Dimas, CA is looking for one host/hostess to join our 7 person strong team. We are located on 322 South San Dimas Ave. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

*Answering the phones and book reservations *Greeting customers and making them feel welcome *Estimating wait time for guests *Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs *Maintain a clean and tidy work area *Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers regularly and professionally

Qualifications

*Friendly and outgoing personality *Ability to listen and communicate effectively *Strong organizational and motivational skills *Proven working experience as a barista *High integrity with a great attendance record *Strong attention to detail *Ability to listen and communicate effectively *Set up and break down workstation *Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables *Label stock and inventory all ingredients *Weigh and measure ingredients to be used *Experience working in BOH position *Dedicated to working with a team towards one common goal *Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $16.00 - $20.00/hour.
