Pacific Rail Services is hiring immediately for an Outside Gate Clerk to join our Team in a recession-proof industry with year round work at the Norfolk Southern Rutherford Railroad in Harrisburg, PA! No experience is required in this entry level position. We offer on the job training as we'll teach you everything you need to know in order to be successful on the job.
Shift and Pay: (Night Shift)
- Monday - Friday
- 6pm-2am
- $15.37/hr equates to $32,000 per year.
Summary/Objective:
The Outside Gate Inspector is responsible for properly checking containers and trailers and chassis in and out of the railroad facility. This would include using a handheld device while inspecting the unit letters & numbers and inspecting units for damage as well as completing paperwork when necessary.
