We are seeking a Software Application Developer to be a key contributor in our initiatives involving advanced algorithms, image processing, and object tracking/detection. This role involves developing software solutions primarily using Python and managing applications on cloud platforms. The successful candidate will work on innovative imaging and algorithmic software products, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software solutions using Python, focusing on algorithms and image processing.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS or Azure.
• Utilize Git for version control and effective team collaboration.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot software bottlenecks, and fix bugs.
• Uphold high standards of code quality and automatization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python.
• Proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Expertise in Git for version control.
• Familiarity with software support tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker, and Sphinx.
• Solid understanding of unit and regression testing methodologies.
• Experience programming in a Linux environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Security Clearance: Must have a current Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with MATLAB or Python for algorithm development.
• Knowledge in machine learning, image processing, object detection, and tracking.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in C .
• Knowledge of concepts related to processing large volumes of data.
