Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain plastic injection molding machinery
• Analyzes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and operational problems of plastic injection molding machines
• Maintain maximum production and quality by making correct adjustments
• Support operations by maintaining equipment at optimal condition
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment as needed
• Assist with plant maintenance, repair and installation operations
• Troubleshoot and determine appropriate repairs, maintain machinery and mechanical equipment
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager

EXPECTATIONS

• Function as shift mechanic to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and process improvement
• Assure that production operates efficiently at peak performance
• Ability to communicate to all levels of personnel / management
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Self-motivated, organized, and team oriented
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regular and predictable attendance, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of injection molding machine repair techniques and auxiliary equipment related to industry
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form
• Advanced time management skills

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
