We’re looking for an experienced Associate Platform Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

The Associate Platform Engineer will be introduced to hybrid-infrastructure developer platforms. An ideal candidate is enthusiastic about the potential of Kubernetes and understands the basics of platform management. They will begin to develop platform APIs for common software operations. The engineer will learn to manage the underlying services for containerized applications. Junior in their career, the engineer will be receptive to guidance and mentoring from more experienced team members. Effective communication is essential for interfacing with the team.

What we are looking for: 

• Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on experience
• Basic understanding of Ansible and its deployment 
• Initial experience or exposure to cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud 
• Familiarity with a programming language such as Java, Python, or Go 
• Curiosity about containerized applications using Docker or Kubernetes
• Basic understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Exposure to front end/back end platform development
• Any knowledge of Keycloak and Elastic
• Interested in collaborative planning with the team 
• Exposure to agile methodologies would be beneficial 
• Eager to showcase work to the team
• Obtain Security within the first 90 days of employment with Raft

Highly preferred: 

• Introduction to relational and non-relational databases 
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret security clearance

Work Type: 

• Hybrid (Colorado Springs, CO)
• May require up to 10% travel

Salary Range:

• $70,000 - $110,000 
• The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
