Rae-Ann Westlake is Hiring an Activities Assistant Near Westlake, OH
- 40 hours (8:30am - 5:00pm)
- Every other weekend and rotating holidays
- 18 years of age or older;
- Must have a basic understanding of the social, psychological and recreational needs of the aged as well as other types of residents in the nursing facility;
- Must have the ability to plan and organize recreational activities geared to the needs of the residents; and
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, and be able to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
- Executes activity programs to carry out the objectives of the nursing facility as part of total resident care;
- Supervises and protects residents during these activities and complies with safety regulations and policies;
- Uses care and proper technique of supplies and equipment; and
- Maintains necessary records.
