The business development specialists will provide outreach to medical providers and the community, while supporting projects, operations and strategic initiatives in Riverside County.

This position occasionally works nights and weekends based on business development needs. 

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Business Development Manager, the Business Development Project Specialist will plan, organize, implement & sometimes lead business development and community relations campaigns and related events as assigned. The Project Specialist will provide outreach to medical providers and the community, while supporting projects, operations and strategic initiatives in Riverside County. The Project Specialist will also promote the Rady Children's unique services to existing and prospective families and partners through strategic communication and outreach. This position occasionally works nights and weekends based on business development needs. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent

2 Years of Experience

CA Driver's License

Proof of Auto Insurance

Must have reliable transportation and current valid auto insurance

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentations. Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills

Demonstrated information systems competency including PC and related equipment using Microsoft Office programs. Ability to learn new software as implemented with the team and/or organization

Combination of education, training and experience evidencing knowledge of and ability to perform various business development functions. Ability to learn service area

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree

4 Years of Experience

Healthcare experience either in a hospital or medical group setting

Knowledge of local and regional healthcare service markets in Riverside County

Knowledge of health insurance plans,covered medical groups and tiered partners

The expected hiring range for this position is $20.96 to $28.81
