Immediate opening for friendly, patient-centered front office receptionist. We are a busy Pediatric Practice, with three facilities (Chandler, Gilbert & Queen Creek). Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within facilities as needed. High phone volumes and scheduling. Good attendance and the ability to connect with others are a must.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to use multi-line phone system, including transferring calls
- Ability to use spreadsheets and word processing software
- Ability to type a minimum of 45 WPM
- Ability to speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard by callers and patients
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to prevent, calm, and/or defuse upset callers and patients working with them to identify concerns and properly directs calls
- 1 years of Medical Receptionist experience. (Pediatrics are a big plus)
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Bilingual Spanish Preferred
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical records systems
