Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologists

• Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Duties include but are not limited to performing high-quality diagnostic non-invasive vascular examinations involving disorders affecting the vascular systems, providing accurate medical descriptions and preliminary interpretations (verbal and written) for physician review, and operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment

Requirements of the Ultrasound Technologists

• 1 year of experience
• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• ARDMS Registered
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
