Position Responsibilities

The Bus person is responsible to provide a clean dining area bussing tables in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner, to keep bar area clean and well-stocked. Ensure 100% Guest satisfaction and high-quality guest relations while projecting Radisson Blu Hotel's standards of service practicing the Yes I Can! Behaviors every day with every guest interaction and professional hospitality at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provides food and beverage service to guests in the restaurant

* Replenishes water; makes and pours coffee

* Clears tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware

* Cleans tables, chairs and floor area

* Resets table quickly

* Restocks bussing stations regularly by polishing silverware, folding napkins, and stocking with china, glassware, ice and clearing trays

* Ensure that all supplies (cups, china and cutlery) are properly stocked

* Assists service team as necessary to meet and exceed guest expectations

* Restock all stations.

* Ensure cutlery is well stocked and polished at all times.

* Bus and reset tables according to company standards.

* Cleaning trays and stacking dishes proper in dish room.

* Notify manager of deficiencies.

* Ensure all supplies are put away each day.

* Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson Blu experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations

* Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service

* Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems

* Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis

* Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction

* Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest.

REQUIREMENTS

* High school diploma or GED required

* Minimum of one year experience in a similar position

* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, menus and guest requests

* Ability to effectively present information one on one to guests, clients and other employees within the organization

* Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

* Must possess a strong team spirit

* Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

* Perform repetitive hand and arm movements

* Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist

* Ability to stand for long periods of time

* Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.

* Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.

* Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.

* Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.

* Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.

* Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.

* Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment
