Procedural Nurse Supervisor | Greenwood Village, CO
Reporting to the Clinical Site Supervisor

Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is comprised of over 100 radiologists. All with exceptional skill and expertise, most are fellowship-trained in their field of specialty for additional certification. We are dedicated to accurate and efficient patient diagnosis not matter what their condition. Our interventional radiologists perform some of the most leading-edge treatments available today. We partner with primary care physicians and hospitals across Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Hawaii to provide a resource for both patients and physicians.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during procedures at our Endovascular Clinic, ensuring patient safety, quality and satisfaction at all times
  • Administer drugs and monitor patients throughout exams/procedures, including sedated patients
  • Manage regulatory aspects of procedural suite
  • Selects, schedules, assigns , and evaluates staff, adjusting hours and shifts as necessary
  • Clinical expert to partner with Practice Manager to effectively support the operations of the Clinic
  • Assures that proper techniques and practices are used according to accepted standards of practice.
  • Determines performance expectations of nursing personnel
  • Participates in the development of clinical policies and protocols
  • Interprets policy, procedures and directives and recommends the establishment, amendment or cancellation of policies, procedures or directives
  • Is responsible for overseeing and directing all drug utilization control and accountability per policy
  • Orders or directs the ordering of drugs, solutions, and equipment, and maintains records on narcotics
  • Maintain and manage the Clinic accreditation process
  • Assist with Clinic expansion efforts, providing support administratively by providing clinical insights and best practices
  • Ensures facility compliance with AAAASF standards.
  • Anticipate, critically assess, and provide recommendations and solutions to the team
  • Provide oversight to staff on expectations and assist in successful operations of the Clinic on an ongoing basis
  • Performs other duties as required
  • Directs nursing through goal setting, group meetings and in-services
  • Follows through with orientation and training of personnel

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervise clinical employees, providing administrative managerial support to all direct reports, Also responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the procedure suite. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policy. Responsibilities include interviewing, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance and addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Experience/Skill Requirements:

  • Interventional Radiology experience (5 years in a hospital setting) preferred
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • RN license
  • Must be patient-focused, possess strong critical thinking skills, and take initiative
  • Effectively communicate and anticipate the needs of patients
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Team player

Compensation is between $85,000 and $105,000 annually dependent on experience.

In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associate’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will receive applications on an ongoing basis and will remain open until filled.

Radiology Imaging Associates offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, AD&D, EAP, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, PTO and holiday pay for eligible employees. There are also options for voluntary income protection benefits i.e. supplemental life insurance, accident, and critical illness, profit sharing 401(k) retirement plan, tuition reimbursement and discounted imaging services. Part-time employees may have access to some of these benefits, which may be on a pro-rated basis. Full-time employees will become eligible for benefits on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.
