RADIAS Health, previously known as South Metro Human Services, provides integrated healthcare to serve the well-being of the whole person. Through primary care, behavioral health, pharmacy services, residential treatment and supportive housing in the Twin Cities metro area, we provide a continuum of care.
RADIAS Health has a Part-time Mental Health Practitioner positions open at a residential program overseeing 16 adults with serious and persistent mental illness. The Mental Health Practitioner provides professional, quality program services to the clients served by Community Foundations and works with other members of the team to assist clients in obtaining and maintaining an optimum quality of life consistent with client needs and preferences. The work uses evidence-based practices adapted for the agency and the client's specific needs. The emphasis is placed on working with clients in community settings and directly providing the services necessary to assist clients in achieving their goals. Some job duties: provide direct services to the residents, develop a therapeutic relationships with residents, medication administration, ensure the safety of the facility and general supervision, provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed and participate in cleaning duties and the up-keep of the facility.
Available Hours:
Mon/Tue/Wed Evenings 4pm-12am (24 hours), Pay $25.48 per hour
Fri/Sat Evenings 4 pm - 12 am (16 hours), Pay $25.48 per hour
Casual Hours 3 shifts per month 1 retainer shift, Pay $25.48 days/evenings and $27.49 overnights
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work plus 2,000 hours work experience providing services to adults diagnosed with a serious mental illness -OR- no college degree and 4,000 hours supervised work experience in the delivery of services to adults or children with mental illness.
