Job Title: Sourcing Manager - Level I

Location: Columbus IN 47201

Duration: 12 Months

Manager is looking for candidates with knowledge and professional experience managing sourcing activities, RFQs to suppliers, analyzing and making decisions with total cost reduction. Familiarity with contracts, good communication skills and project management skills.

Oracle program experience is a plus. Knowledge with ERP software and systems also a plus. Intermediate Excel skills; MS Office

Location: Hybrid (on-site 1-2 days a week); First day on-site

Hours: 40; Monday-Friday; 8AM-5PM no OT

Years of experience: 3-5

Sourcing Manager I

This role will lead sourcing projects and related activities for Aftermarket Cross-BU Team. 

Responsibilities for this position will include the following:

Manages sourcing activities aimed at reducing cost, minimizing risk, and optimizing business processes.

Identifies, plans, and implements continuous improvement opportunities within the supply chain as needed.

Builds strong relationships with and fosters communication among key purchasing stakeholders across business units and functions.

Drives total cost TCO reductions across the entire supply chain as needed

Identifies opportunities and leads continuous improvement activities within key processes.

Key skills that are helpful for this position are purchasing/commercial experience, negotiation experience, knowledge and/or experience with supply contracts, and project management skills. Industry experience in sourcing related activities such as RFQ, loading pricing, creating PO's, project management. Has 1-3 years of experience.
