Reports to: Location Pastor

Work schedule: Part time 25 hours per week

Job Summary:

The Location Groups Coordinator will provide direct ministry support to the Location by developing the Groups Ministry to ultimately increase congregational engagement through a culture of multiplication, growing the quantity and quality of the Groups department. Will provide administrative support by connecting with others through excellent communication, developing systems to further the reach, and impact of the Groups ministry.

Faith-based Requirements:

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ that results in a life lived in obedience to the will of God as described in the Word of God, evident by spiritual fruit, and the desire to grow in the Lord
• Support the works of the ministry of Radiant Church
• Beliefs consistent with Radiant Church’s Statement of Faith
• Willing to become, if not already, a member of Radiant Church within 6 months of employment
• Demonstrate a commitment to handling conflict Biblically, following principles in Matthew 18

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Organize and execute Groups sign-up weekends at the Location
• Oversee Groups Weekends throughout the year including but not limited to lobby presence, sign ups, and follow-up
• Develop relational equity within the Location congregation to actively recruit more Groups Leaders, and place people in the group leader pipeline
• Oversee, maintain, and develop systems to manage, communicate, and follow-up on all things Groups by using, but not limited to CCB, (from input to archive)
• Administratively and relationally oversee Groups Leaders, coaches, and participants for the Location
• Coach a minimum of 1-2 leaders per semester
• Planning, preparing, and executing set up for all training and equipping events for Groups department
• Gather and maintain Groups stats for Location for Groups Director and Location Pastor
• Process Groups inquiries for the Location
• Recruit volunteers for various needs throughout the year
• Maintain and organize Groups storage and supplies
• Maintain unity and collaborate with other Location Groups Coordinators
• Attend weekly/monthly staff prayer, all staff, Groups department, Location team meetings, and administrative meetings
• Other duties as assigned

• Able to adapt under pressure to quickly and creatively handle problems as they arise with a positive attitude
• Self starter who takes initiative
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills
• Proficient in meeting task deadlines and project timeline requirements
• Attention to detail with an eye for excellence
• Respond in a timely manner (within 24 hours) to all ministry related inquiries
• Able to delegate tasks
• Mac OS experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license required

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of related work experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to remain standing/sitting for long periods of time
• Must be able to bend and twist at the waist
