Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient information in a professional and efficient manner.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups
- Verify patient insurance information
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately
- Handle patient inquiries and provide necessary information
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in medical terminology and systems
- Knowledge of medical software such as eClinicalWorks is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
