Radiance Solar issearching for a driven enthusiastic apprentice / intern to join ourteam. This position will train under the supervision of experiencedand trained solar installation professionals and will assist insuch things as routine operation of driving piles the mechanicalinstallation of solar racking systems and panels in an outdoorenvironment and ensuring that installation work meets theestablished standards set by the Company and the client.

To be successful as an apprentice or intern youmust have great time management skills and be willing to fit intothe existing workforce structure.

Outstanding apprentices andinterns are those who respond well to constructive criticism buildgood relationships with colleagues and ultimately make a lastingimpression to the Company as awhole.

Key Responsibilities

• Train under thesupervision of current solar installation professionals on suchthings as pile driving and the mechanical installation of solarracking systems and panels.
• Track your timeworked to satisfy the 2000 hours per year onthejob trainingrequirement.
• Attend monthly classroom trainingand track your training hours to satisfy the apprenticeship 180hours per year of related classroom instructionrequirement.
• Conduct site maintenance dailywearing all required safety equipment / PPE to install and inspectsolar racking and panels.
• Review project plansand drawing to ensure the project is built according to design.
• Inspect work report and document findings andcreate quality measurements and testing.
• Ensure all PPE tools and equipment assignedare accounted for maintained in good condition repaired or replacedas required.
• Attend weekly safety meetings.
• Performs other job responsibilities asassigned by the supervisor asneeded.

Qualifications

• Must have a current drivers license and othercertification if required by OSHA state or federal regulations.
• Ability to travel away from home for extendedperiods of time.
• Ability to work independentlyand complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Selfmotivated with the ability to work wellwith others.
• Must have a reliable vehicle totravel from job site to job site.
• Ability tomeet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Age 18.
• Proven commitmentto safety and teamwork.
• Read write andcommunicate using English language sufficient to perform jobfunctions (other preferences will be given for special languageskills where there is a businessneed.

PhysicalRequirements

The physicalrequirements for this role could include any of thefollowing :

• Stand or walk for longperiods of time.
• Use arms and hands to reachfor handle or manipulate objects.
• Lift andcarry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift itemsweighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
• Climb up and down ladders scaffolds and otherobjects.
• Stoop kneel crouch and crawl.
• Be able to see well (naturally or withcorrection).
• Have good eyehand coordination.
• Have good physical fitness.
• Have good sense of balance.
