Job Summary
To provide housekeeping services and special floor care maintenance throughout campus facilities, and in support of university functions, to ensure a sanitary and safe environment. Responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping equipment, supplies and assigned keys. Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of general housekeeping cleaning and cleaning equipment. Ability to accomplish a physically challenging occupation. Ability to understand and follow all safety precautions and work related directions. Ability to lift 50 pounds and move 25 pounds. Ability to communicate and work in a team effort. Semi-skilled in the operation of housekeeping powered equipment.
Additional Considerations
Ability to work all standard weekend shifts.
Experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping.
Ability to effectively read and write.
Valid driver’s license desired.

Special Instructions to Applicants
Off days are Monday and Tuesday. Standard shift is Wednesday through Sunday. Must be able to work weekends consistently throughout the year. At this time, schedule is only adjusted to Monday-Friday for Winter Break.
