Key Professional Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an NAAB accredited architecture school.
- 5 years of work experience in design and construction industry with substantial time spent working on architectural construction and permit drawings.
- General understanding and experience researching and applying Zoning Codes, Building Codes, Life Safety Codes, and Fire Codes.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with clients and project teams including other staff members, engineers, consultants, and contractors to successfully coordinate and complete projects on time and within budget.
- General understanding and experience with products and materials, building systems, and construction types in order to accurately represent built conditions in construction and permit drawings.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to reach creative design and project solutions.
- Must be self-motivated with strong leadership skills.
- Must be reliable, hardworking, and results-driven.
- Must maintain a positive and professional attitude.
