Rack Electric is currently hiring Generator Service Techs for our awesome and growing generator service division.

  • Monday – Friday 7:00am -3:30pm with Overtime available.
  • On Call schedule every 6 weeks

Job Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Perform residential and commercial Bi- annual maintenance service on a daily schedule.
  • Install and service monitoring equipment.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues on Generators and related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on generators
  • We are a paperless company. we operate out of a CRM software
  • Be on call for emergency calls 1 week at a time
  • Hourly Pay is based on experience

Must have/meet the following qualifications:

  • Mechanical background does really well as a generator tech
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Must have some technical aptitude
  • Electrical background a PLUS
  • Basic electrical and plumbing tools with testing equipment
  • Clean Driver’s License
  • Drug Free (We are a Drug Free company)
  • Generator knowledge is a HUGE PLUS (basic generator features and benefits training is provided)
  • Job is physically demanding and candidate must be able to lift up to 70lbs on rare occasions, bend, stoop, squat and kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in extreme conditions to incl, heat, wind and rain.
  • Candidate should be methodical in their work assignments and follow all company procedures.
  • Must be willing to be Cross trained in all company divisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
