SUBJECT: Extended Learning Summer Clerical Support
EFFECTIVE: June 17th, 2024 – August 1st, 2024 (No work on June 19th)
HOURS: Qualified applicants must be available to work Monday-Thursday; 11:00am - 4:40pm.
Position Purpose: To provide clerical and office support during after school summer programs hours of operation.
Qualifications: 2 or more years in a general office setting (school office experience preferred). High school diploma or equivalent, plus computer skills including, but not limited to, word processing and data entry, Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be willing to be trained in current technologies, including Cayen Systems.
Essential Functions:
1. Excellent communication skills with the coordinator, students, parents, day school staff & community partners.
2. Correspondence via email/phone with parents/guardians.
3. Track student files, classes, attendance.
4. Run weekly reports to keep data up to date.
5. Run weekly attendance reports for instructors to track attendance.
6. Communicate with parents of students with excessive absences.
7. Forward payroll to Extended Learning Office weekly.
8. Maintain a file on all communications that will be sent out.
9. Attend all trainings that are mandatory.
10. Other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
Applicant selected must be available for all trainings. Coordinator/Clerk Meeting June 17th 1-3pm;
All staff PD/Planning June 18th 10-4pm.
Note: Each position is offered subject to the right of the Extended Learning Program Office to withdraw due to low enrollment of students and available funding.
