About this Opportunity!

 We are rapidly expanding and have big goals to meet! We are looking for a professional who can combine strategy with practical detail and organizational experience to ensure complex projects get done and achieve desired business outcomes.

As part of our mission to provide the fastest internet to unserved and underserved communities we need a business savvy project manager who can help manage the complexities of coordinating our internal resources and delivering our new market launch projects, from the business development phase through the post market introduction phase, on time, within budget and exceeding the expected business outcomes. 

We are looking for someone out of the ordinary – who can do the day-to-day tracking and coordinating of complex projects and wrangling of internal resources, but who also sees the big picture and how these projects serve our strategy. A key part of this role will be providing regular feedback on project goals and initiatives that will be shared with our internal leaders and external investment partners. Can you manage the minutiae, but communicate the big picture to the most senior levels? If so, we want to talk!

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the “single source of truth” for the status of all business projects (including Construction, Network Engineering, Finance, Sales and Operations)
  • Help define and document success parameters for new projects
  • Effectively manage multiple projects at once
  • Plan, lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings
  • Track budget and resource allocation for projects
  • Help identify roadblocks and issues and bring to the attention of collaborators and stakeholders in a timely fashion
  • Provide regular as well as ad-hoc reporting on project status to internal stakeholders
  • Provide regular reporting on project status to be shared with key external stakeholders (investment partners)

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • 6 years' experience in Project management
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Adept at negotiating and managing conflict resolution
  • Strong finance, impact, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; a strong presence to influence diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as appropriate; Observe where there may be silos or inefficiencies and then help solve them collaboratively
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and ability to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels – both internally and externally
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities
  • Innate drive to succeed and take initiative
  • Strong organizational talents and ability to work under pressure and in new environments
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and accountable
  • Proven skills in the effective use of Microsoft Office applications: including but not limited to Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Gantt Charts, and Planner
