Description :

We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our growing staff. The ideal candidate for this role will be capable for installing, inspecting, and fixing all applicable areas within the organization.

Candidates should have extensive experience in maintenance within a warehouse / factory environment .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors and vendors to complete each project on time
• Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project
• Communicate with the management team and support each subcontractor to execute his job duties effectively and efficiently
• Performs regular safety inspections to verify compliance of safety standards
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
• Perform basic tasks including painting, plumbing, flooring, sheetrock, and other maintenance repairs
• Perform repairs on company machinery, equipment, or appliances
• Complies with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) regulations and guidelines
• Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations
• Other duties as assigned.
• Based on the above essential functions this job is considered to be a safety sensitive job function .

Qualifications :

• Experience in maintenance and repairs.
• Creative problem solving, ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Ability to transport, handle and / or lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to work from standing, sitting, kneeling and stooping positions.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (if needed)
• Ability to maintain safety at all times while on the job.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Preferred qualification :

• OSHA 10 or 30
• Forklift certification
