R & R Scales is Hiring a Field Service Technician Near Abilene, TX
R & R Scales is seeking candidates for servicing industrial weighing and measuring systems (scales).
Servicing will encompass calibration, preventative maintenance, and/or repair, and installation assistance. You will learn on the job, how to perform these services on various scale types in a wide variety of industries such as cotton gins, grain elevators, manufacturing and processing plants for chemicals, dairy products, fertilizer, food, livestock, medical, plastics, waste, to name a few.
A mechanical or electrical background with computer aptitude is preferred.
You will need to be physically able to lift 50 lbs. routinely during your work day.
A clean driving record is required; along with a Class B commercial driver’s license. In addition, a state issued weights and measures license is required. It is preferred, if you already either of these licenses. If you do not, R & R Scales will provide the training and pay for you to acquire the licenses within 6 months of hire. All training will be provided while on the job.
Voluntary Medical insurance available. Both employee and family coverage available, 401k with company match. Vacation available as well.
Proficient technology skills are needed. Candidates will use smart phones, tablets, ELD logs, etc. to successfully perform their job functions. All of these are provided by R & R Scales.
Strong and Proven customer relations skills are a must.
Must be willing to relocate if necessary.
