We are looking for an individual that can be a part of our team at RiRa Portland as a Food Runner (@ $7.50 an hour tips). The position is 20-30 hours a week and can encompass mornings and evenings!
Who You Are

- You ideally have experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant setting (although not required)
What You Will be Doing
- Ensuring orders are being prepared with the correct priority (when Expo) and that the presentation of dishes meets Company specifications immediately prior to guest delivery
- Assisting in the final preparation of dishes (garnish etc.) as required
- Delivering food to guests in a friendly, timely and accurate manner to both floor and bar sections
- Following up with guest requests, either directly or via the assigned Bartender / Server
- Assisting Servers and Bartenders in maintenance and cleaning of service utensils and service equipment
- Interacting with guests
- Adhering to all local and state laws regarding the service of food; including Steps of Service
- Ensuring that the Kitchen Line, and associated stations / areas are kept stocked and are maintained in an organized, clean and sanitary manner
- Ensuring that all set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
