R&P Technologies, LLC is Hiring a Program Analyst (Junior/Mid) Near Bath, ME

Overview

R&P is looking for a professional who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Junior or Mid-Level Program Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Responsibilities

This position primarily involves the receipt of shipyard metrics data from various systems and sorting, analyzing and repackaging that data into standard weekly reporting formats. It requires a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a solid understanding of Microsoft Access, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. We will train selected candidates on the details of the information and functions.

In support of the Government Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Bath, ME, the contractor supports program and acquisition management efforts. The contractor provides analytical, acquisition and administrative support to the SSBA Program Manager's Representative (PMR) team including, but not limited to: providing acquisition and program management support in support of ship construction oversight efforts; providing assessments and indicators of progress for ship construction efforts; backup support for the coordination program management office operations including schedules and correspondence; and providing program administrative support in the development of project plans.

  • Detail of Weekly Deliverables: (raw data development, updates of text, dates, charts, graphs, tables)
    • PMR Weekly
    • Milestone Metric Progress (SSBA forecast v. BIW Current Forecast)
    • ALO Critical Combat Space Progress tracking
    • DDG 51 COVID-19 Impact tracking (BCWP, Work Order Progress)
    • HME & Combat Test Progress Tracking in support of contract incentives
    • DD250 Work Order Reporting
    • Ad-hoc requests (some examples - open work order requests, historical progress v. current progress, TW/Sprays/GI progress, milestone & schedule forecasting, cost of 1%, contract/strike impacts, contractor performance on tank sprays, BAC update identification, test readiness, compartment completion tracking, rework charging, key event updates, etc.)
  • Detail Quarterly Deliverables: (raw data development, updates of text, dates, charts, graphs, tables)
    • SPR PMR Package
    • PEO Ships Briefs, Portfolio Packages

Qualifications

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access
  • High attention to detail and self motivation

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Position requires daily presence at the Government site and is not remote, although portions of some workdays could be conducted remotely.

Preferred

  • DoD/DoN acquisition acquisition

  • Experience communicating with Project Managers, Program Manager Representatives (PMR) and Deputy PMR

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Secret Clearance. Will entertain working with highliy qualified candidates that are able to obtain a clearance.
