Overview

R&P is looking for a Business and Financial Management Analyst who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We are recruiting a Junior Analyst to support the management of business financial operations, cost estimation and analysis, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of the DDG 51 shipbuilding program.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management to the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Pascagoula, MS
• Assist in tracking the execution of all DDG 51 Class Lines of Accounting
• Assist in preparing responses to inquiries from the DDG 51 program office
• Assist the Administrating Contract Officer (ACO) to include monitoring contract growth resulting from change order execution, tracking total contract obligations, and analyzing change order proposals in support of negotiations,
• Develop, update, and maintain a log of contract values, to include amounts, descriptions, and reasons. 
• Assist in preparing responses to inquiries from the DDG 51 program office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
• High school diploma with over 5 years of professional experience of DoD/Navy financial management
• Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Salary
