Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily transportation operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods and personnel.
Duties:
- Plan, organize, and manage the daily activities of the transportation department
- Supervise transportation staff, including drivers and logistics coordinators
- Monitor transportation costs and maintain budgetary compliance
- Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures to optimize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing transportation operations
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and inspections
- Address any issues or delays in transportation services promptly
