R.L. Lipton Distributing Co. is Hiring a Truck Checker (FT) Near Maple, OH
As a checker, you verify outgoing pallets to a pick sheet to be delivered to retail customers. Accuracy and product stability are priorities.
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying cases loaded onto pallets match the pick sheets for that load.
- Testing product stability on the pallets and insuring pallets are stretches wrapped.
- Verifying the counted pallets are correctly loaded onto the correct truck for next-day delivery.
- Various other tasks are regularly assigned, including nightly clean-up, equipment maintenance and general warehouse/facility organization
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
- Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
- Ability to lift 50 pounds as needed
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
